What is Nexous?
Nexous is a tool that scans the memory of processes to search for specialized strings.
What is Nexous used for?
The primary usage of Nexous is functioning as a third-party client-side anti-cheat. If a video game server is dissatisfied with the anti-cheat provided in a game, they often search users’ computers manually for cheats with methods known as “Screen-sharing”. Searching a user’s computer for cheats takes hours, and whoever is searching must have the skills necessary to find the cheat. Nexous automates this process, allowing for just one program to be run to find cheats, saving hours of time and making “Screen-sharing” accessible to inexperienced server owners.
How does Nexous work?
Generation
The user generates a pin from the website and downloads the program onto a computer.
Scanning
The user enters the pin into the program and waits for the scan to complete and be uploaded to the web server.
Results
The user views the scan results on the website, which shows useful information such as Recycle bin timestamps, USN journal file logs, and custom string detection.
